A life remembered.

Preserve memories of a loved one in a special way.

A life remembered.

Do you have a loved one who is getting older, and want to ensure their memory is preserved for years to come? Maybe you’ve discovered a treasure trove of pictures and videos of a long-ago relative who you don’t want to be forgotten.

A Life Remembered video takes photos and images of this person and creates a video feature about their lives, including photos, videos, graphics, and captions. This highly personal content is most often made by the family of the person being remembered, and are completely custom.

While your content outline for the video is personal to you and the person you’re remembering, we recommend:

  • Up to 3 baby pictures, under age 2.
  • Up to 5 childhood pictures, up to age 12.
  • Up to 5 teenage pictures, up to age 18.
  • Up to 10 young adult pictures, up to age 21
  • Up to 10 pictures up to age 30
  • Up to 10 pictures up to age 40

Another way your outline may flow is by content categories, such as:

  • Up to 10 newlywed pictures, prior to having children.
  • Up to 10 new parent pictures for each child.
  • Additional categories, such as:
    • Marriage of a child
    • Becoming a grandparent
    • Meaningful travel
    • Military service

While these are guidelines, you should allow for flexibility. We can help you decide how best to categorize life events to make the best possible video memories. On average, we can fit about 10 photos of each event or decade as well as video clips for each if available. The video clips are particularly powerful if they contain footage of the remembered person speaking.

How does this work? First a consultation to outline the content of the Life Remembered video. The family determines a single point of contact representative to interface with Story by Cori, as there’s often multiple people compiling content. Once the content has been gathered to fill the outline, the draft video is created.
